ZipTrip believes you deserve to know how we earn revenue. This page discloses our affiliate relationships clearly and in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).
An affiliate link is a specially tracked URL that identifies ZipTrip as the referring source when you visit a third-party website. If you click an affiliate link on ZipTrip and then make a qualifying booking or purchase on the destination platform, ZipTrip may earn a commission from that platform.
This commission comes entirely from the third-party platform — it does not add any cost to you. The price you pay for a hotel, tour, or restaurant reservation is the same whether you arrive via ZipTrip or navigate directly to the platform yourself.
ZipTrip currently participates in affiliate programs with the following platforms:
Hotel and accommodation recommendations in ZipTrip link to Booking.com search results. When you complete a qualifying hotel reservation through a ZipTrip link, we may receive a commission from Booking.com. Booking.com's affiliate program is operated through their internal partner network.
Activity and tour recommendations link to Viator, a TripAdvisor company. When you book a qualifying tour or experience through a ZipTrip link to Viator, we may earn an affiliate commission. Viator's affiliate program is subject to their partner terms and conditions.
Restaurant recommendations link to OpenTable reservation search pages. ZipTrip may participate in OpenTable's affiliate or referral program, through which we may earn compensation for qualifying restaurant reservations made via our links.
All travel recommendations displayed on ZipTrip are generated by OpenAI's GPT-4o artificial intelligence model and ranked or enriched using Google Places data. The AI model has no knowledge of or relationship with our affiliate partners — it generates recommendations based solely on your trip inputs and its training data.
We do not manually curate, boost, or suppress recommendations based on potential affiliate revenue. We do not receive higher commissions for recommending specific hotels, restaurants, or activities over others within the same platform. Our booking links are generated automatically for every recommendation regardless of its content.
Affiliate commissions are subject to each platform's terms, cookie windows, and eligibility criteria. ZipTrip does not guarantee that a commission will be earned from every click or booking. Commissions are paid at the sole discretion of the respective affiliate partner.

Actual prices, fees, and availability are determined entirely by the booking platform at the time of your reservation. Always confirm final pricing on the destination platform before completing a purchase.
